Step 1: -

  • At first open Visual Basic0 application software.

  • Then click on or select ‘Standard EXE’ icon from New Project dialogue box.

  • Then click on ‘Open’.
Step 2: -

Form design: -


Select necessary Control Tool from Tool Box and adjust the position to ‘Form Window’: -

  • Nine Label Box

  • Nine Text Box
Five Command Box

Properties Settings: -

  • Select ‘Form1’from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Form1’ to ‘Mark Sheet Project’ from the properties window

  • Then select ‘Label1 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label1’ to ‘Name’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 2 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 2’ to ‘Roll No.’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 3 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 3’ to ‘English’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 4 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 4’ to ‘Mathematic’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 5 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 5’ with ‘History’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 6 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 6’ to ‘Geography’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 7 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 7’ to ‘Total’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 8 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 8’ to ‘Average’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Label 9 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Label 9’ to ‘Grade’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text1 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text1’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 2 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 2’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 3 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 3’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 4 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 4’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 5 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 5’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 6 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 6’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 7 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 7’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 8 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 8’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Text 9 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Text’ from Properties Window

  • Then remove or erase ‘Text 9’ from Properties Window

  • Then select ‘Command1 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Command1’ to ‘TOTAL’ from Properties Window.

  • Then select ‘Command 2 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Command 2’ to ‘AVERAGE’ from Properties Window.

  • Then select ‘Command 3 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Command 3’ to ‘GRADE’ from Properties Window.

  • Then select ‘Command 4 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Command 4’ to ‘CLEAR’ from Properties Window.

  • Then select ‘Command 5 box’ from Form Window and select ‘Caption’ from Properties Window

  • Then replace ‘Command 5’ to ‘EXIT’ from Properties Window.












Step 4: -

Code writing:-

  • Double click on ‘TOTAL button’ or ‘Command 1 box’

  • Then input code to Command 1 code box

Code: - Text7. Text = Val (Text3.Text) + Val (Text4.Text) + Val (Text5.Text) + Val (Text6.Text)

  • Then double-click on ‘AVERAGE button’ or ‘Command 2 box’

  • Then input code to Command 2 code box.

Code: - Text8.Text = Text7.Text / 4

Note: - ‘Val’ = Volume of Text1 box.

  • Then double-click on ‘GRADE button’ or ‘Command 3 box’

  • Then input code to Command 3 code box.

Code: - Dim A as an integer

             A= Text8. Text

             If A >= 85 then

             Text9. Text = “A+”

              Else If A>= 60 then

              Text9. Text = “A”

              Else If A>= 45 then

              Text9. Text = “B+”

              Else If A>= 30 then

              Text9. Text = “B”

              Else

              Text9. Text = “Not Promoted”

              End If

  • Then double-click on ‘CLEAR button’ or ‘Command 4 box’

  • Then input code to Command 4 code box.

  • Then double-click on ‘EXIT button’ or ‘Command 5 box’

  • Then input code to Command 5 code box.

 Step 5: -

Project Save: -

  • Click on ‘Save project’ option from the File menu

  • Then input any name to file name box and click on Save option from Save file as box

  • Then input any new name to file name box

  • Then click ‘Save’ option.

Step 6: -

Project Run: -

  • Press F5 key from the keyboard or click on ‘Start’ from ‘Run menu’ for run the project

  • Then input any ‘Name’ to ‘Text 1 box’

  • Then input any ‘Roll No.’ to ‘Text 2 box’

  • Then input any ‘Number’ to ‘Text 3 box’

  • Then input any ‘Number’ to ‘Text 4 box’

  • Then input any ‘Number’ to ‘Text 5 box’

  • Then input any ‘Number’ to ‘Text 6 box’

  • Then click on ‘TOTAL’ button.

  • Then click on ‘AVERAGE’ button.

  • Then click on ‘GRADE’ button.

  • Then click on ‘Clear button’ for clearing the TextBox.

  • Then click on ‘Exit Button’ to close the result window.
